At Westend Hospital, we pride ourselves on the relationships we build with other professionals. We view ourselves as a part of a larger whole consisting of multiple resources that are all invested in helping our clients achieve their mental health goals. As such, we are proud to work side-by-side with our clients’ families, friends, physicians, mental health professionals, and all others who are invested in our clients’ care.
If you believe someone you care for may benefit from our services, the first step is to merely give us a call or visit our campus. We recognize that emergencies can happen at all hours of the day or night, so we are available 24/7 to take referrals.
When you call, you will be directed to a member of our admissions team. During regular business hours, your call will be routed to our intake coordinator or other designee, and outside of normal business hours, you will speak with the charge nurse on duty. This admissions team member will obtain relevant medical records, gather history, and assess for appropriateness for care.
We welcome referrals from many different sources. However, we most often receive referrals from emergency rooms, nursing homes, outpatient clinics, physician’s offices, and walk-ins.
Because we view ourselves as one piece of a larger whole in the pursuit of our clients’ mental health, we are happy to work with referral sources, with client consent, to provide progress updates and ensure continuity of care.
If you feel the services we provide may be of help to someone in your care, please do not hesitate to contact us.
